Marty and Roy's Christmas Programme

Today Marty and Roy came to school to teach us about Jesus and Christmas. We sung, played games  and learnt lots. Here are some photos.

Technology

At sewing today some of Kereru made frisbees. While making these frisbees we had to work as a team by making them together.

Then we got to try out the finished project!!!!

Sand Pit

The Nature Ninjas are busy planting around the sand pit. It is looking great!!!!

Indian Tag

Kereru class has got a new game, Indian tag!!!  Stephen came and taught us on Wednesday and for fitness we learnt this game. There are two teams, one team are taggers who are lined across the court facing different ways and the other team are runners who are lined up in the corner of the tennis court.

One runner runs onto the court and tries to not get tagged by the tagger. The taggers then run after the runner but can only stay on the half of the court they were facing. 

It is really fun and Kereru love playing it!

Gripping the Wire

Vague prayers emerge in my blood rushed brain. Adrenaline ruling my petrified body, commanding me to continue the unsteady and uncertain death sentence. My muscles cry for mercy but I keep struggling forward. My legs buckle under my trembling upper body as I leap toward my life saver. The rugged wooden platform, the rugged uneven platform.
