Science enquiry with Kiwi

The learners in Kereru and Kiwi have been working together to carry out experiments to investigate the strength and absorbency of different types of paper!!

Operation Christmas Child...

The boxes are packed, and sent away. Thank you to the 9 students from Kereru who volunteered to pack a shoe box filled with Christmas goodies for a child in Iraq. You are all incredibly generous people.

Mike came from City mission and he talked about what he does and why.

Amazing day at Athletics on Wednesday. Well done to all of the ladbrooks competitors. The positive feed back that we got from the parents and teachers was amazing. Good luck to all thoses continuing on to zones.

'Lunch Shout'

Ben W has very kindly offered to shout Kereru class 'Hot chip butties' with a small amount of the money he won in the science fair. This will happen tomorrow (Friday 12th September) at 12:30pm. If you are a big eater, bring something else - just in case! But you will not need to bring a big lunch if you think you will enjoy a nice chip butty. Thank you Ben.
