A surprise jump jam was taken place by the pals on Wednesday

 it also seems that some of are year 8s really got in there.

Kereru and Kiwi's Visit to Town

Last week on Monday Kereru and Kiwi Class went into Christchurch City for the day.

We saw lots of different things we never thought existed and managed to get some great photos, which will be uploaded soon.

We managed to get a ride on the tram round the town and had lunch in the Cathedral Square.

We had a look in the museum which was really cool 

We went and looked at the Spectrum Arts, which was incredibly awesome!

It was a really great experience and everyone really enjoyed it.

Halswell river clean up and Kids Plant out Day!!

After cleaning up the Halswell River on Leadleys Road, we went back during the Kids Plant Out Day to replant it! What an awesome experience. We found 22 tyres  and an old microwave that had been dumped. We planted over 200 trees throughout the day. Our group planted about 150 at the river.

Rail trail

On Sunday Kereru did the rail trail most people found it challenging but others found it easier. We rode to little river got a a ice cream or milk shake  and rode back. It was very fun the whole class will agree with that we also did some activities with it like how many different birds and birds you could find.

Cross Country

On Tuesday we had our small schools cross country. We had to run over Broadfields Schools bike track, through their forest, through freezing cold water and over hay bales. It was hard but in the end we were just happy we did it.
